Accounts Update

We have spoken to auditors who have said what is required and therefore we have:

• Produced a voucher system for expenditure;
• Completed a spread sheet for all income and expenditure;
• Completed a balance sheet which is available at the AGM;
• Completed reconciliations;
• Remaining to complete a breakdown of petty cash payments;
• We're ready to appoint an auditor;
• As you can see from the balance sheet we have £8,000.00 grant money currently available to us for ongoing projects;
• Ongoing expenses have increased due to adopting another room;
• We intend to run a call centre from the new space bringing in a small income.

Ongoing work with our accounts. With voluntary assistance from a bookkeeper and Julian we will be working on, amongst other things, spreadsheet analysis for grant funders and a budget forecast.

Outstanding matters include:

• the need to appoint an auditor;
• We can have the accounts audited or have them externally verified by an independent accountant. Co-opportunity have offered to do this for £250.00 +VAT.
