Demudi was a custom Debian Linux distribution featuring a complete recording studio package and audio toolkit. it is no longer actively maintained though it survives in some form as a user community focussed on Proaudio.(

Development is now done as part of
Debian Multimedia.

Planet CCRMA - a collection of RPMS that turn a computer running Fedora into a low-latency Audio Workstation.
Studio64 - a specialist audio distribution for x86 64bit hardware based on a Pure 64 port of Debian with specialist packages. A 32-bit version is available.and the forthcoming
UbuntuStudio. Due to be launched in April 2007 this aims to be "a multimedia creation derivative of Ubuntu".
Dyne:bolic]. A live CD distribution aimed at media activists and optimized for slower computers. It allows you to edit, create, broadcast and manipulate audio and video.
Pure:Dyne a customization of dyne:bolic for realtime audio and video processing.
