Connecting to a node is simple. You take your wireless-enabled device (desktop, laptop, ipaq, etc.) within range and the rest is likely to be automatic. However, if you wish to connect from a desktop PC inside your house, you will probably need to install an antenna on the roof and a wireless device in your attic/roofspace, which is then connected to your desktop by a cable.
