LTSPCabinets

Cabinets for public internet access and learning are to be constructed at St Werburghs Community Centre.

Suggestion for the building of cabinets

We should base cabinet size around the ATX motherboards specifications and get the screw holes drilled in the cabinet mounting to reflect that. This would allow us to consider boards of the following form factors: ATX, MicroATX, FlexATX, mini-iTX. The positioning of the screws for this spec are shown on page 12 of this document:

httphttp://www.formfactors.org/developer/specs/atx2_2.pdf

There are other specs that might turn up in the future, but they are too expensive to bother drilling holes for at the moment.

ATX power supply mountings should also be added in case they are needed.

Inputs and Outputs

Power, sound, USB

Keyboard and mouse can be added to the USB ports.

Monitors 19"

19" monitors will be purchased for the project.
