How to change the appearance of xmmms

xmms (the X Multimedia System) can be customised in a number of ways. Its appearance can be changed by 'skinning' and its size can be altered too. Try it by following these steps:

1. Open a terminal (as user, not root);

2. Type: cd .xmms/Skins;

3. Type: wget http://www.xmms.org/skins.php?download=84;

4. Open xmms;

5. Right click on the black bit and open > options > skin browser;

6. Close that window and it should look more pleasing;

7. To change its size, right click again and go to options and click 'double size'.
