Minutes agreed

Matters Arrising: Flats install: 3 people 3 days. more kit needed install UPS. We have £2.5K left to finish this.

Training: Lloyd is running a training course in flashing AP's and networking. details to the GS on dates and times

Volunteers: We need an introduction pack to welcome volunteers

Fundraising: Sam is to apply for Egov initiative funding for the ECC

Social source hosting: In principal we can run the wiki for the social sources so long as the wiki they want to use isn't flaky and a security risk. Rich will approach psand and see if they are up for running the mailing list.

Agenda points:

Network: Sort out stability, try turning up the transmit power to sort out some connections. John will have a look at the current network set up for a second opinion. Rich to pester the council to get the backbone install done.

ECC: Report back on the meeting we had concerning the sate of play at the ECC. httpmeeting minutes

Management Groups/decision making: wiki page detailing the way decisions are made. httpdecision making

AOB: Mixed Networks: Implemation of a mesh network to sort out the dark areas ie. Vining walk. this would also be a way of allowing individuals to join the network cheeply and help spread network.

Ronja: Ben and Pete responsibility, offered trinity hall and john said we could use westcom premises in Yatton. will look into this.

Logo: 5 Votes for 4 votes against this page has comments on the logo httpdesign specs

Dick Penny and Helen Breem met Pete and discussed the possibility of us using the old Redifrsion network that is now owned by the council.

Psand wants 6 laptops for there LTSP suite, we agreed to supply them Westcom want 6 laptops for a Bangladesh project, we agreed to supply them too.
