Basic help

If you do not plan to connect your computer to the internet then common tasks will include using open office for word processing.
Here are three introductory tutorials to open office; simply type the following lines into iceweasel (this web browser)

We recommend getting data from your computer using a removable USB drive. These are cheap and readily available. USB drives can simply be plugged into the computer and an icon will then appear on the desktop. You can then drag and drop saved files onto the drive.
If you have problems doing this then we recommend doing a IT course at St Werburghs Community Centre. Contact us for details.

To reflect the actual costs of providing this service the calls are billed at £1.50/ min.
