Content filtering
Whilst we think the internet is a brilliant thing and that generally it should remain free and open, we also recognise that it is appropriate to restrict children's access to it.
We can install this software on request.
Technical detail
We are adapting some tools developed by the
Ubuntu community to allow parents to restrict content.
For a menu item to be created you must have a user account created with a version of the bristolwireless package version >= 0.7.1-1, the software will still work on standard Debian systems.

Whilst we believe that the software will do a good job of restricting content, we provide no guarantees to this effect and accept no liability whatsoever for any inappropriate content. We are simply providing a set of tools for parents to use, the efficacy of the software depends on its proper and careful use.
We draw your attention to Section 11 of the
General Public License (GPL) under which the software is provided:
