Basics
Scribus is a cross-platform open source page layout application (desktop publishing). Originally developed on Linux, Scribus runs natively on Windows 2000/XP and MacOSX. Scribus is free of charge and source code is free to download.
Underneath the modern and user friendly interface, Scribus supports professional publishing features, such as CMYK color, spot colors, separations, ICC color management and versatile PDF creation.
