Proprietary software policy:
Promoting open source and free software is a core component of our fully mutual rules. Henceforth:
- All Microsoft(TM) software must be removed from the premises
- No further Microsoft software should be brought on to the premises
- We should not help callers favours with disfunctional Windows(TM) operating systems on their machines.
These policies form a simple way to exclude the most pernicious sort of proprietary software from our everyday practices. A proper and permanent solution for client with proprietary operating systems should be to install a Free Software alternative, such as Debian GNU/Linux.
