It is our desire to offer a service like telephony for free on our network. This would hopefully be integrated into the regular phone system too. VoIP is a way of using the way in which a standard computer network (like ours) works to pass voice information. Video can also be included with messages on VoIP systems.
Currently we are experimenting with and testing an 
Asterisk solution which we hope will form the backbone for our location free Support Call Centre.
