READY-TO-ROLL NODES
—-

ECC NODE
—
The antenna is to be raised up to overcome growing of trees shadowing it.
NEIGHBOURHOOD RENEWAL
–
All the user machines are to have Linux installed, and be 100% supported by LinuxIT in Victoria Street.
FINANCE
—
We have the £800 from North Bristol Primary Care Trust. £1000 from Greater Bristol Foundation in the pipeline. Probably before Christmas (8 week turnaround).
Should we appoint a part-time worker to coordinate the project? We need funding to do this. The Greater Bristol Foundation also has a fund (upto £5000) to hire someone (usually a consultant) to work out funding bids, and steer us in the right direction.
We also want a shelf in the office to stack more gear. Quote to be obtained, and decision to be made online.
DIGITAL DONATION II
—-
Move to January with all the other events we are doing. January 31st tentative date. Format to be pre-built machines. There is debate on whether it is worthwhile. Whilst publicity is good, the logistics of planning to give away 50 machines and teach the users are interesting to say the least.
